GERMAN SEALS

All regular issue plates in Germany have seals . These include :

1) State Seals indicating that the Insurance and the Taxes have been

payed on the vehicle.Pre 1994 State seals are generally Black on silver.

Post 1994 State seals are much larger and more colorful.

2) A round colored and dated seal on the Back plate indicating the

vehicles passing of a safety test.

3) A colored and dated hexagonal seal on the front plate indicating

the vehicles passing of an emission test.

4) A seal on a temporary plate from the town of issuence. These seals are generally either black on red or black on blue.

It is my intent to display all German Seals. Check back often for up dated

postings to my seal area. Due to the fact that the seals are supposed to be

defaced when removed from a vehicle , This may take some time !
