There is a great varience with the Lebanon plates . I am told this is

because the plates are owner provided. The newest plate I have

consists of the blue 55mm band with a white cedar tree.

the plate is white on black with the Arabic and western version of

LIBAN and trhe registration numbers.

Current plates are black on white. The letters SYR and the Arabic version

are in the upper left corner above the western version of the serial number.

The serial number is repeated in large characters to the right. The

registration consists of a two letter code for province and class followed

by a hyphen and up to four serial digits.
